Join a highly reputable 20-attorney Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm in Lower Manhattan. We are dedicated to securing justice for individuals injured due to negligence and are looking for a passionate, skilled attorney to join our team. We're a well-known P.I. firm that handles auto & trucking accidents, premises liability, products liability cases, construction accidents, and med-mal in NY. We only handle severe injury cases with $200k policies and above, up to multi-million dollar lawsuits. We are a TRIAL FIRM. As such, we prepare all of our cases diligently to be trial-ready. (NOTE: This is an IN OFFICE position - it is NOT remote).
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with 2+ years of experience handling personal injury cases, specifically auto accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, and/or construction accidents. The ideal candidate will have trial experience in New York courts, a strong ability to negotiate, and a track record of securing favorable settlements and verdicts for clients. (While we prefer Plaintiff's experience, we will consider those with only B.I. Defense experience in NY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of personal injury cases from pre-lit to trial
- Represent clients in court, including trials and settlement negotiations
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and trial briefs
- Develop case strategies and maintain client communication throughout the case lifecycle
- Collaborate with the legal team on complex cases
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of personal injury experience, with a focus on auto accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, and construction accident cases in NY
- Trial experience in New York courts is preferred (you should have prepped for several trials that settled, at minimum)
- Strong litigation skills and a proven track record of case success
- Licensed to practice law in New York
