York Day Early Learning is seeking an early childhood educator to join our Mixed-age Preschool teaching teams, working with children ages 3-5 years old.
The successful candidate will work with the Center Director to determine their shift from the following:
* 8:00/8:30am - 5:00pm
*8:30/9:00am - 5:30pm
Hourly rate calculated based on credential held in Early Childhood Education:
- Entry level starting at $15/hour
- Active CDA starting at $17/hour
- Earned Associates Degree in ECE starting at $22/hour

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Applicant must and be able to document 2 years working with children (2,500 documented hours), at minimum.
- A current CDA is preferred.
- Completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and/or 2+ years of experience working with children is a plus.
- Must produce a clean PA Criminal History Check, FBI, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and National Sex Offender Registry Clearance.
- Successful applicant must obtain and pass a pre-employment physical examination and tuberculosis test; obtain and pass a bi-annual physical examination; have the visual ability to identify and respond to hazards; be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and to lift children of various sizes; possess strength and endurance required to engage in exercise, group games, and other age-appropriate activities with, interact with, and maintain constant supervision of, the children enrolled in the program.
- Teachers must have reliable transportation.
