Job Summary
Infinite Solutions Behavioral Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and dependable Qualified Mental Health Professional – Community Services to provide mental health rehabilitative and case management services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. The QMHP-CS will be responsible for delivering curriculum-based, client-centered services that support emotional regulation, coping skills, behavioral improvement, community stability, and access to needed resources.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, professional, and knowledgeable in providing services in accordance with Medicaid and MCOs, and adheres to company documentation standards. This role requires strong communication skills, timely documentation, ethical decision-making, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, legally authorized representatives, caregivers, schools, community partners, and internal team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide Mental Health Rehabilitative Services, including Skills Training and Development, Medication Training and Support, Psychosocial Rehab and Crisis Intervention services as assigned.
- Provide Targeted Case Management services to assist clients and families with accessing community resources, medical care, educational supports, basic needs, and other stability-based services.
- Deliver curriculum-based interventions that address coping skills, emotional regulation, anger management, communication, social skills, decision-making, grief, trauma-related concerns, and behavioral functioning.
- Support clients in identifying root causes of behavioral and emotional challenges while teaching practical skills to promote positive change.
- Provide services in approved settings.
- Engage with caregivers, LARs, and family members when clinically appropriate to strengthen support systems and promote continuity of care.
- Link clients and families to community resources such as food assistance, clothing assistance, housing support, transportation resources, recreational programs, school supports, medical providers, and social service agencies.
- Identify barriers that may impact treatment progress and assist the client or family in developing steps to address those barriers.
- Complete accurate, individualized, and timely BIRP notes in accordance with company, Medicaid, and MCO requirements.
- Submit notes, corrections, timesheets, and required documentation within company deadlines.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct in all client, staff, and community interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Attend required staff meetings, trainings, case staffings, and supervision meetings.
- Maintain required certifications, trainings, and employment documentation, including CPR/First Aid, TB test, driver’s license, auto insurance, CANS/ANSA certification, Medicaid-required trainings, and other company-required trainings.
- Respond to communication from supervisors and administrative staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Strong understanding of community resources in the Houston and surrounding areas.
- Ability to build rapport with clients, caregivers, and community partners.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
- Must be comfortable with commuting to see clients
- Knowledge of Psychotropic medication
- Knowledge of DSM-IV-TR/DSM V Diagnosis
Minimum Qualifications
- Must meet the qualifications of a QMHP-CS under applicable Texas Medicaid and behavioral health service requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human services, or a related behavioral health field preferred or required based on program guidelines. If you do not have one of the related fields, you MUST have at least one year of documented experience in the mental health field.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or families with mental health or behavioral needs preferred.
- Knowledge of mental health rehabilitative services, targeted case management, BIRP documentation, and Medicaid compliance preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes, schools, office locations, or community settings as needed.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and maintain required credentials.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of medical records.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
