We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL driver to join our structural steel company in Spring Grove, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating boom truck for setting structural steel
Responsibilities
- Operate boom trucks with crane (will train)
- Load, unload, and set structural steel
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to facilitate timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to prevent accidents or injuries.

Experience
- Prior experience operating machinery - such as skid steers, fork lifts, excavators.
- Construction site experience is essential for understanding project workflows and safety procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Valid CDL class B required.
