Women’s Care Center is the nation’s largest and most successful pro-life pregnancy-resource center. We provide free and confidential counseling, support, and education to help pregnant women choose life, have healthier pregnancies, and become better parents. We serve 45,000 women annually at 39 centers in 12 states—and we’re still growing!
Who We’re Looking For
Women’s Care Center is seeking a Human Resource Director to help shape the future of our organization. The ideal candidate has a breadth of HR Skill Competence and a gift for recognizing exceptional people and inspiring them to join a mission that changes lives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Recruit outstanding mission-driven talent
○ Develop and execute creative recruitment strategies that identify individuals with exceptional ability, leadership potential, and a deep commitment to Women's Care Center's mission.○ Forecast staffing needs and ensure staffing plans align with operational priorities and approved budget alignments.
2. HR Strategy
○ Partner with the leadership team to develop workforce strategies that support Women’s Care Center’s strategic priorities, operational needs, and future growth.
3. HR Team Leadership: Build a high-performing team
○ Lead, Manage, and hold the HR Team Accountable ○ Establish clear goals and expectations for the HR Team while fostering a culture of service, collaboration, and continuous improvement. ○ Ensure HR systems, technology, and processes provide outstanding service to leaders and employees while supporting efficient operations and accurate reporting.
4. Create an Exceptional Workplace
○ Foster a workplace culture where outstanding employees thrive and choose to stay. ○ Lead the annual compensation review process, including market analysis, internal equity, and financial considerations. ○ Develop compensation and recognition strategies that attract and retain exceptional employees. ○ Partner with leaders to strengthen employee engagement, leadership development and accountability. ○ Manage the employee exit process and use turnover data to strengthen recruitment and retention.
5. Compliance
○ Ensure employment practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. ○ Maintain practical employment policies and partner with Finance to ensure accurate payroll-related employee data.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Passionate commitment to Women’s Care Center’s pro-life mission
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required. Master's or HRM Certification, preferred
- Demonstrated success recruiting exceptional employees using proactive search skills, creativity, and persistence to find outstanding candidates who may not actively be seeking a new opportunity.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory standards affecting the workforce.
- Progressive leadership experience in all areas of human resource competency, including: talent acquisition, compensation planning & benefits, employee relations, performance managment, organizational development, and organizational leadership.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to analyze data collection efforts using analytics tools for data analysis skills that inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent judgment, communication, negotiation, relationship-building and strategic thinking skills.
