What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll support our veterinarians and technicians in providing outstanding care to our patients and clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with patient restraint and handling
- Preparing patients for exams, surgery, and dental procedures
- Supporting anesthesia and surgical workflows
- Collecting samples and running diagnostics
- Administering treatments as directed
- Maintaining clean and organized treatment areas
- Providing excellent client communication and education
- Helping create a positive, team-oriented hospital environment
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant
- Experience in a small animal veterinary hospital
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience assisting with surgery and dentistry
- Comfortable working in a GP environment
- Interested in continued learning and professional growth
- Someone who enjoys building strong relationships with their team
Compensation & Benefits
$16-18/hour
Pay is based on experience.
