【POSITION SUMMARY】
NewConcept Education is a leading Chinese language education company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. For more than 13 years, we have specialized in helping adult learners develop real-world Chinese communication skills through innovative, research-based instruction.
We are the creator of Fun Fun Mandarin®, a proprietary digital Chinese learning platform that combines video-based storytelling, interactive learning activities, AI-powered learning tools, smart flashcards, and structured curriculum pathways. Our students include professionals, executives, and learners from leading organizations such as Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and other global companies.
We are seeking passionate and professional Chinese language instructors who are excited to teach adult learners and contribute to an innovative educational team.
The selected candidate will remotely teach beginner- to advanced-level Mandarin Chinese in small-group and private online classes. All instruction is conducted through our digital learning ecosystem, including Zoom, LMS, and the Fun Fun Mandarin® platform.

【Qualifications】:
Candidates will be considered without respect to race, color, religion, sexual orientation or gender. Competitive applicants will have the following skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Teaching license/certificate preferred;
- At least two years online teaching experience and demonstrated professional experience teaching in virtual environments;
- At least three years of classroom teaching experience at the time of application.
- Demonstrated understanding of pedagogy;
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
【POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES】
· Conduct 60-minute online Chinese classes.
· Respond to work-related or student emails within 24 hours.
· Attend teacher meetings, participate in professional development training, report on students' learning progress, and address any issues.
· Thoroughly plan for each class meeting by preparing engaging language lesson activities and manage the digital online classroom.
· Provide homework reminders and share learning materials on the learning management system. Additionally, check students' homework and provide feedback.
· Create and publish the course syllabus for each session's plan at least 3 days before the course begins.
· Participate in monthly check-ins with NCE staff and incorporate feedback into practice.
