Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and prepared for use in a hotel setting. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers to launder linens, towels, and garments according to established procedures.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains or damage prior to laundering and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment and supplies.
- Follow safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for guest use.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is required
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A commitment to providing excellent service in a hotel environment is essential.
