The Madison Wine Exchange is a family owned destination retail wine & spirits super-store focused on delivering great experiences to our customers. We are seeking out an individual to join our hard-working Team!
The position of Assistant Store Manager is an opportunity for an individual passionate about wine, spirits or beer to level-up their knowledge while aiding in the day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of Adult Beverages, either from working in Restaurants, Breweries or another Retail Liquor Store.
This position will require the following:
- Opening and Closing responsibilities
- Managing Part-time employees
- Day to Day operations including but not limited to:
- Balancing Register Drawers
- Processing Customer orders/special requests
- Accepting & Processing deliveries
- Assisting in-store customers
- Running a cash register
Qualified candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Publisher & Outlook
- Candidate must be comfortable in handling cash and running a computer-based POS system
- Candidate must be able to perform long hours on their feet as there are no seated job responsibilities.
- Candidate must have reliable transportation
- Candidate must be able to lift and consistently move 45lbs, the approximate weight of a case of wine.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
