POSITION SUMMARY
Facilitates activities from candidate acceptance to the onboarding process while also providing HR customer assistance for employees and managers throughout the organization.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Work Experience
2 years prior experience in Human Resources or related field.

JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
1. Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the HMHD Compliance Plan.

4. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding the materials presented during the corporate integrity and compliance training and education program.
5. Complies with all HIPAA standards.
6. Responsible for performing the on-boarding process for all assigned departments including new hire paperwork, payroll data entry, file management, badge processing and manager notifications.
7. Accurately maintains term files and termed I-9 documents.
8. Act as a liaison to new hires throughout the on-boarding process and be available to assist with any questions or concerns they may have.
9. Responsible for accurately processing badges for all assigned departments.
10. Order office supplies upon request.
11. Responsible for the department mail.
12. Effectively provides clerical/receptionist support for Human Resources, Benefits.
13. Consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of hospital benefits, policies and procedures and gives accurate information including direction to the ADP portal, Form Web or benefit web-sites. Refers to other staff when appropriate.
14. Accurately maintains personnel files. Including destruction of documents per policy and documentation on various excel files as needed.
15. Effectively assists applicants with password assistance to HR systems.
16. Participates in employee celebrations such as retirement parties, Angel Tree, hospital picnic, service excellence awards and service award events and assists with set-up and planning as needed.
17. Responds to agencies and creditors with employment verifications in a timely manner.
18. Manages subpoenas or Iron Mountain record requests.
19. Assists with payroll data entry changes and manages PAF’s.
20. Provides assistance to the HR Generalist. May include processing
paperwork, making files, job fair organization, and clerical assistance.
