Administrative Assistant / Payroll & Accounting Assistant
Vandemark Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Payroll & Accounting Assistant to support our accounting, payroll, human resources, and daily office operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Payroll
- Collect and review employee timecards each week.
- Follow up with supervisors regarding missing or incorrect timecards.
- Prepare payroll information for management review.
- Maintain payroll records and employee files.
Accounting
- Enter vendor invoices.
- Prepare bank deposits.
Human Resources
- Prepare new hire paperwork.
- Maintain employee personnel files.
- Track PTO and vacation balances.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees.
- Help ensure required employment documents are complete.
Administrative
- Answer phones and greet visitors.
- Schedule meetings and appointments.
- Order office supplies.
- Prepare letters and company documents.
Qualifications
- QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday.
- Full-time (30–40 hours per week, depending on business needs).
Compensation
$28.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
