We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join Full Smile Dental in Canyon! The ideal candidate is a compassionate hygienist who thrives in a pediatric setting, values patient-centered care, and is excited to grow within a supportive, locally owned network of dental practices.
The RDH plays a vital role in creating positive dental experiences for children while promoting lifelong oral health. Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care for pediatric patients
- Performing cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, radiographs, and periodontal assessments
- Educating patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Assessing, documenting, and communicating patient findings to the provider
- Ensuring a comfortable, supportive, and child-friendly clinical environment
- Collaborating with providers, assistants, and administrative staff to maintain smooth patient flow
- Upholding the highest standards of clinical practice, safety, and patient communication
Your expertise helps create an environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and confident about their dental care.
Part-Time | Monday & Tuesday | 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working in pediatric dentistry
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Comfortable working with children of all ages, including patients with special healthcare needs
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability, teamwork, and a positive, solution-focused mindset
