Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SharePoint Architect/Developer to support the enterprise Laserfiche decommission and migration to SharePoint Online initiative. This role will focus on designing, configuring, and implementing SharePoint solutions that enable seamless migration of documents, metadata, and workflows while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, audit, and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. SharePoint Solution Architecture/Development & Configuration
Design and configure SharePoint Online sites, libraries, content types, and metadata models
Implement permissions, access controls, and security models
Ensure solutions support search, retrieval, and findability requirements
Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs for document ingestion, storage, metadata updates, and advanced search capabilities in SharePoint Online, supporting real-time integration and efficient document retrieval across enterprise systems
Design and implement SharePoint Online retention policies and records management controls to ensure migrated content is properly classified, retained for required periods, and preserved in accordance with enterprise governance and legal hold requirements
2. Laserfiche Migration Execution
Support migration of documents and metadata from Laserfiche to SharePoint Online
Implement and validate metadata mapping
Troubleshoot migration issues and validate outputs for accuracy
3. Metadata & Information Architecture
Define metadata-driven information architecture
Optimize content organization for search and usability
4. Validation & Testing
Perform functional testing and support UAT cycles
Ensure document completeness and metadata accuracy
5. Collaboration
Work with architects, migration engineers, Client, and SMEs
Participate in design discussions and issue resolution
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years SharePoint development experience (SharePoint Online preferred)
- Strong expertise in SharePoint architecture, metadata, and Power Automate
- Experience with enterprise content migration projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated industries (audit and compliance focus)
- Experience with large-scale migration programs
- Success Metrics
- Accurate migration of documents and metadata
- Effective search and retrieval functionality
- Successful UAT validation and stakeholder sign-off

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $68- $75/hour. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
