Job Summary:
As an Activity Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school activities, and patrons to and from local and non-local events, ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers during their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an orderly, calm, and safe environment on the bus.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus before and after each route.
- Report any required repairs or maintenance to the team.
- Complete and submit mileage reports for the routes driven.
- Keep the bus clean, tidy, and in mechanically sound condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and school safety protocols.
- Attend monthly safety meetings and any other required training.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a background check, DOT Physical and DOT Drug screening.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and commit to reliable attendance.
- Willingness to obtain a DOT License (we provide paid training to help you obtain this).
- A passion for working with children and the public, and a dedication to everyone's safety.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
