Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Property Maintenance Coordinator who will serve as our go-to person for all maintenance-related tasks and tenant communications. This role is a blend of hands-on repair work—covering plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and apartment turnovers—and seamless communication via property management app.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants.
- Diagnose and perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors when needed.
- Handle tenant communications, ensuring clear updates, timely resolutions, and professional service.
- Conduct regular property inspections and recommend preventative maintenance measures.
- Manage apartment turnovers efficiently, ensuring units are ready for new tenants.
- Maintain organized documentation of work orders, costs, and tenant interactions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property maintenance or a related trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
- Comfort and proficiency using property management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule for emergency calls.
Pay: $22.50 - $23.00 per hour
