Labor Solutions Professional is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company, contract, and ISO quality standards. This role works under general supervision and collaborates with Production Supervisors and Material Handlers to support material flow from receiving through production.
Hours: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM | Monday–Friday
Pay: $21.50/hour + premium
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector ensures incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished goods meet company, contract, and ISO quality standards. This role works closely with production and materials teams to support quality and material flow.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming, WIP, and finished goods (visual & dimensional)
- Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Identify and document non-conforming materials
- Perform 100%-dimensional inspections as required
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Maintain inspection and quality records
- Follow ISO procedures and safety standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Quality Control experience (manufacturing)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Experience with inspection tools and measuring devices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Quality certification preferred
Physical & Work Environment:
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Manufacturing/shop environment; PPE required
