Clinic Manager - MD Hyperbaric Center
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Clinic Manager ideally with a strong clinical background (e.g. MA, EMT, RN, or similar) to oversee the daily operations of our hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) center. This multifaceted role combines leadership, operational oversight, and direct patient care to ensure a safe, efficient, and outstanding experience for every patient.
As the central leader of the center, the Clinic Manager will collaborate with the Medical Director and HBOT technicians to manage operations, uphold safety standards, and create a positive, results-driven environment. This position offers a unique opportunity for a healthcare professional to apply their clinical expertise in a dynamic and impactful leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership and Patient Care:
● Oversee the onboarding process of new patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
● Coordinate patient intake forms, maintain accurate records, and schedule consultations with the Medical Director as required.
● Assist in administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions, ensuring proper patient care and safety protocols.
● Use your medical expertise to support patient assessments and onboarding in collaboration with the Medical Director.
● Educate patients on HBOT procedures, addressing questions with compassion and professionalism.
Operational Management:
● Manage all aspects of the center’s daily operations, aiming for the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
● Address and resolve any issues that may arise, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
● Coordinate oxygen delivers and oversee the management of oxygen inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted therapy services.
● Handle billing processes, including patient charges and programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
● Implement business growth tactics, such as engaging with local physicians and practices, nurturing existing referral sources, and developing new partnerships.
Team Leadership and Staff Management:
● Provide oversight and leadership to HBOT technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
● Develop and implement staffing plans and schedules to ensure optimal staff levels and efficient operations.
● Manage staff training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
Safety and Compliance:
● Serve as the Safety Coordinator, overseeing the center’s safety program to ensure a secure environment for both patients and staff.
● Ensure compliance with all stated regulations, safety standards, and center policies.
Qualifications:
● Clinical background as a MA, EMT, RN, or equivalent; active certification preferred.
● Proven experience in an administrative or healthcare management role, with a preference for candidates with experience in hyperbaric oxygen therapy centers or similar medical facilities.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
● Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with patients, staff, and industry professionals.
● Passion for patient care and the ability to lead by example in a hands-on capacity.
● Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and participate in continued education and professional growth opportunities.
● Willingness to undergo training for administering HBOT sessions.
