Join our vibrant café team as a dedicated and energetic Barista! Roslyn Landing is going to be the newest space in town offering Victrola Coffee, which is one of the best roasters in the Pacific Northwest. Offering Victrola Coffee is a competitive edge as we are the only spot in Central Washington serving their phenomenal product.
In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality coffee, smoothies, and fresh pressed juices. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. As a vital member of our team, you'll manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth operations and satisfied customers. The customer experience is critical whether it is our coffee, food, or drinks.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, smoothies, fresh pressed juices
- Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, drip coffee machine and espresso machine
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy using POS systems
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals in accordance with health standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimal wait times
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Experience
- Previous barista experience is necessary
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and café operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Experience in serving food or beverages in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours

Pay: $17.13 - $18.00 per hour
