Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; coordinate with security or management when necessary.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; perform basic math calculations for change and totals.
- Uphold responsible serving practices in compliance with alcohol laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours while managing time effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in sports bars, nightclubs, or concert settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is essential for efficient order processing.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments within the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Experience serving in food safety-conscious environments; knowledge of food handling protocols is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards.
