Holiday Wholesale is hiring for a full-time Day Warehouse Freezer Stocker. This position is responsible for placing products into the appropriate storage locations in the freezer.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately stock products in the freezer and rotate products according to date codes.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of product date codes and the stock rotation process.
- Operate lift trucks, electric hand pallet jacks, and other manual and mechanical equipment in the freezer and general warehouse area.
- Understand and demonstrate safe warehouse practices in driving mechanical equipment and maintain appropriate certification.
- Move product from the receiving or storage area to designated freezer areas, sort, and place product into the appropriate storage locations.
- Assist Freezer Buyer as needed.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and be productive within a repetitive lifting environment.
- Responsible for keeping work area and aisles clean and free from obstructions.
- Any other associated function required to complete the tasks assigned by the Manager according to the Team Member’s skills and abilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Be able to work for long periods of time in a cold environment (as low as -4 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Forklift and pallet rider certified (Will train if necessary).
- Able to lift 50 pounds consistently.
- Able to lift boxes overhead on a regular basis.
Possible work days are either Sunday, Tuesday-Friday or Monday-Friday, 5am to 3:30pm.
Work all schedualed shifts to recieve a $1 an hour attendance bonus!
