As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Baker (PM Team Lead) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in baking, but also demonstrates leadership by organizing prep, supporting team workflow, and helping drive a positive, efficient kitchen environment.
The Baker is responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods while working closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to meet financial and operational goals. This position will also act as a PM shift leader, partnering with the AM team lead to ensure consistency, communication, and execution across shifts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, produce, and bake pastries, breads, rolls, desserts, and specialty items

Develop and test new recipes for catering menus and rotating offerings

Organize and manage prep lists for the PM shift to ensure efficiency and execution

Lead, support, and motivate a small team during PM operations

Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef and AM team lead to maintain consistency across shifts

Maintain accurate records of baking production to support cost control and profitability

Manage inventory levels and order necessary supplies

Decorate and finish baked goods to meet presentation standards

Ensure proper storage and maintenance of baking equipment and tools

Occasionally interact with guests during events, maintaining a professional and hospitable presence
REQUIREMENTS:

Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Demonstrated leadership ability, including organizing workflow and supporting team morale

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Self-motivated with a high level of accountability

Comfortable reading and/or speaking English to review BEOs and communicate with team members and guests

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and varying shifts as needed
Education/Training/Experience:

Education: High School or equivalent. Coursework in restaurant preferred.

Minimum 1–2 years of bakery experience required

Experience with professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts in a fast-paced environment
