Private Tutor Needed for My Son (Pre-K to 1st Grade)
I am looking for one experienced private tutor for my son. He is currently in Pre-K and will be starting 1st grade this August.
Because we speak two languages at home, he needs extra support with English language development, especially speaking and pronunciation. I am looking for a tutor who specializes in early childhood language development and can also help with basic elementary math.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English speaking, reading, and writing
- Improve pronunciation and language skills
- Teach basic math concepts
- Help with handwriting practice
- Teach letter recognition, numbers, shapes, and other foundational learning skills
Schedule:
- 3 sessions per week (preferably Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, but the schedule is flexible)
- Approximately 1.5 hours per session
- Preferred time: 10:00 AM–11:30 AM, but the schedule can be adjusted by mutual agreement
Pay:
- $25 per hour
- Additional hours may be available if we feel extra instruction would be beneficial
Location:
- Jones Valley, Huntsville, Alabama
Requirements:
- Experience teaching young children
- Patient, caring, and passionate about working with kids
- Strong English language teaching skills
