Quality Engineer-
An Aerospace Quality engineer is responsible for ensuring that aerospace products, components, and processes meet regulatory, customer, and company quality requirements
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and customer requirements.
· Support and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS).
· Develop and update quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
· Review manufacturing and inspection plans.
· Verify that parts, assemblies, and materials meet engineering specifications.
· Conduct first article inspections (FAI) according to SAE International AS9102 requirements.
· Review inspection records and acceptance documentation.
· Investigate quality issues, defects, and customer complaints.
· Lead root cause analysis using methods such as: 5 Whys
Required Skills
- Reading engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Root cause analysis
- Quality management systems
- Manufacturing process knowledge
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- CMM experience (operating and/ or programming)
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
