Passionate & Reliable School Photographers Needed
Photo Texas Photography Houston is seeking highly motivated, dependable and energetic individuals to join our team of professional school photographers. Serving the greater Houston area, our photographers provide portrait services to students in some of the most fast paced and fun environments — elementary and middle schools!
Applicants must exhibit a willingness to provide exceptional customer service, attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team. And of course, you must enjoy working with kids!
No prior photography experience is necessary! We provide in-depth training, all necessary equipment and company branded polo shirts.
This is a part-time, seasonal position. Hours will vary (approximately 20 to 35 hours per week).
Job Requirements:
· Be dependable, responsible and punctual.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Communicate effectively with students, staff and team.
· Act professionally and appropriately at all times.
· Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude at all times.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
· Exhibit patience and work well under pressure when dealing with large numbers of and a diverse mix of Pre-K through 8th grade students.
· Willingness to travel up to and over 75 minutes from your home to schools in the greater Houston area and surrounding locations.
· Become familiar with company photography equipment, verbiage, posing and grooming procedures.
· Become completely familiar with and follow all company processes, policies and procedures.
· Attend virtual and brick and mortar meetings.
· Be well groomed, practice good hygiene and dress work appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Attend virtual or in-person staff meetings every Monday.
· Be available to work at least 3 days per week (Monday – Friday)
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured and registered transportation (in compliance with all state laws) to transport yourself and company photography equipment.
· Ability to lift and operate photography equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
· Ability to pass a criminal background check.
