Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of components using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge.
- Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment safely to move materials within the facility.
- Measure parts and materials accurately using measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Interpret technical drawings and production documents to support manufacturing tasks.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to support production needs while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety standards in production environments.
Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with assembly line operations and mechanical assembly is advantageous.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and using measuring instruments is essential.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles, is desirable.
- Experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams will be considered a plus.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, forklift operation, and manual handling techniques is required.
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols diligently and contribute to a safe working environment.
