Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and dietary options, to assist guests effectively
- Handle food safety and sanitation standards diligently while serving food and beverages
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate cash handling and billing
- Previous experience with serving, food preparation, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
- Must demonstrate professionalism, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills to foster guest satisfaction
