American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel IMCU/Telemetry position in La Porte, IN, requiring ACLS certification and at least 1 year of critical care experience.

Intermediate care unit (IMCU) in a hospital setting

30-bed telemetry unit

Patient ratio of 4-5:1
-
Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
-
Floating to Med/Surg may be required
-
No on-call requirements
-
Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
-
13-week contract

Active IN RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date)

Minimum 1 year of recent critical care experience required

Valid driver's license required for consideration

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Fast-paced intermediate care unit environment

Navy blue scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

RTO is not available for this assignment; holiday coverage is dependent on facility need, with blackout dates possible

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
