The Ground Crew member is first and foremost responsible for enforcing safety policies and procedures set forth by the company. They will also provide attentive and friendly customer service to all passengers whilst being an ambassador of Aloha on behalf of Rainbow Helicopters.
- Check-in passengers for their tour
Log passenger weights into flight software (Gyronimo). Assign cabin seating.
- Prepare guests for their flight
Passenger safety briefing/HAZMAT materials. Distribute safety vests, phone lanyards, goggles, jackets, etc. for flight. Safe driving of company golf carts and transporting of guests on airport premises.
- Loading/unloading of passengers in helicopters
Adhere to safety protocols and Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Passengers must be properly escorted at all times.
- Punctuality, excellent work ethic, attention to detail, being a respectful team player, and friendliness are all required
- Exemplary customer service skills. Patience and Aloha is a MUST with all guests!
- Must be able to stand/walk frequently with reasonable accommodations, and work in the sun while outside with helicopters
Working conditions could vary outside with the weather. Be mindful it can be sunny, windy and rainy at times. There is ample noise created by the helicopters as well as commercial, general, and military aircrafts outdoors. Sometimes the smell of aviation fuel can cause a strong odor in the air as well. The ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid U.S. drivers license to obtain airport driving license to operate golf carts on airport ramp/runways. Must be able to pass Airport background check to obtain work badge/credentials
Federal background check will be conducted.
- An aptitude for basic mathematics, clear and concise communication, and multi-tasking skills desired
