Electrical CAD Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical CAD Technician to support a team of detailers, designers, and engineers in delivering high-quality drafting and design solutions across a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and revising engineering drawings based on sketches, layouts, and design concepts.
- Support the development and modification of permit and plot drawings.
- Ensure all work adheres to established drafting standards and discipline-specific practices.
- Contribute to drafting design and documentation for multiple projects.
- Utilize standard drafting tools and programs to complete assigned tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for drafting processes and quality.
- Research project-related issues and recommend solutions to design challenges.
- Perform additional duties as assigned while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree required.
- Coursework in drafting technology or a specialized CAD certification required.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a proactive mindset.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, grow, and advance within the field.
