About the Role
As a Metal Forming Technician, you will play a critical role in our production facility by managing high-capacity forging lines to create precision components. You will be responsible for ensuring that all output meets strict quality standards while maintaining optimal equipment performance and safety protocols.
Responsibilities-
Operate and monitor industrial forging machinery, adjusting parameters to ensure consistent part quality and production efficiency.

Conduct precise dimensional inspections using gauges and measuring tools to verify conformance with technical specifications.

Collaborate with setup teams to execute efficient equipment changeovers and process adjustments.

Utilize manual and power tools, as well as lifting equipment like hoists and cranes, to handle heavy machine components safely.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions to minimize downtime.

Monitor equipment performance by listening for operational irregularities and vibration, making necessary control adjustments.

Maintain accurate production logs and documentation within the company’s digital tracking systems.

Foster a collaborative environment by communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless workflow.
Qualifications-
Proven mechanical aptitude with a strong focus on industrial safety and ergonomics.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting/maneuvering up to 50 lbs.

Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

Capacity to interpret operational sequences and follow complex technical work instructions.

Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety standards.

Prior experience operating forging, stamping, or heavy press machinery.

Technical certification or specialized training in industrial maintenance or machining.

Experience with automated machine control units and digital interface systems.

Strong problem-solving skills related to part compliance and equipment diagnostics.
