Job Summary
Fast paced ambulatory surgery center looking for a part-time RN with potential growth to full-time. Monday through Thursday, closed Friday.
Responsibilities and Duties
Obtain medical history from patients prior to surgery date. Pre operative care, including but not limited to, obtaining vital signs, starting IV's, following surgeon orders, and accurately document all findings. The position requires long periods of standing and assistance in moving patients as needed. There will be exposure to blood & body fluids, sharps and hospital grade cleaning solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
Graduate of an accredited RN program and have current GA nursing license. A minimum of one year experience as a preoperative nurse desired but not required. Have current CPR certification with ACLS preferred. Bilingual recommended. Demonstrate ability to provide quality patient care. Communicate and work efficiently with people.
