Peraton is seeking a senior-level Technical Trainer to manage and execute all aspects of training implementation, such as record management, registration, facility access, attendance, curriculum and classroom preparations, and post-training evaluations to make sure professional development courses are conducted efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate has experience supporting the intelligence and/or law enforcement communities, excellent attention to detail, and is mindful of new information technology training needs, trends, methods, and techniques.
Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Formulating teaching outline and determining instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops;
- Developing curricula and associated learning objectives, as well as course materials, to establish the team’s foundational knowledge to perform assigned work;
- Developing tests and visual aids, conducting training classes, and developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities;
- Keeping abreast of training and development research - learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques;
- Ensuring all products adhere to applicable customer and community standards;
- Maintaining quality standards as directed by the program leadership team and supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed;
- Engaging with colleagues and the customer to support initiatives designed to continuously improve and enhance individuals’ professional development
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
