The Dog Bather & Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. This position combines hands‑on dog care with front‑desk responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
You will be responsible for bathing and prepping dogs for grooming services, ensuring each pet is handled safely and gently. On the administrative side, you will manage client check‑ins, answer phones, schedule appointments, and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while staying calm and friendly. You’ll work closely with groomers, and other team members to keep daily operations running smoothly and ensure every client receives exceptional service.
A core requirement of this role is prior dog bathing or grooming experience. You must be confident and comfortable bathing, brushing, drying, doing nail trims, and safely handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
Previous customer service experience a plus, but not required. Reliability and punctuality are imperative!
Wages include hourly rate plus tips.
