We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to support customers throughout the U.S. and Canada. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in industrial equipment, plastics manufacturing, blow molding, injection molding, or packaging equipment who enjoys troubleshooting and working directly with customers.
This position will serve as a key technical resource for customers, helping install, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize equipment used in plastics manufacturing. You’ll work independently in the field while also partnering closely with sales, engineering, and customer teams.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to customer manufacturing facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment
- Support equipment trials, startups, and customer testing
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Make adjustments and repairs to improve equipment performance
- Train customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Work closely with sales and technical teams during customer trials
- Document service activity and communicate findings back to the team
- Build strong relationships with plant personnel, maintenance teams, and customers
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience servicing, maintaining, or troubleshooting industrial equipment
- Experience in plastics, blow molding, injection molding, packaging, extrusion, or a similar manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Electrical troubleshooting experience is highly preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Experience with material handling, blending, dosing, conveying, or color dosing equipment is a major plus
- Experience with Husky or similar plastics processing equipment is a plus
- Comfortable working independently at customer sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willing and able to travel approximately 50%, with travel varying depending on customer needs
