Position Summary:
We're looking for a reliable, energetic team member to join our store as a Retail Stock Receiver & Customer Service Associate. This dual-role position is central to how our store runs — you'll keep our shelves stocked, our stockroom organized, and our customers smiling. Key Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inventory

Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage, and discrepancies; report and document any issues

Unpack, label, and organize merchandise for the sales floor or stockroom

Stock shelves, displays, and fixtures according to planograms and store standards

Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and annual inventory audits

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom and receiving area

Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other receiving equipment safely

Communicate low-stock levels and product needs to management
Customer Service

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner

Answer product questions and help customers locate merchandise

Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash, card, and returns

Handle customer concerns and complaints with patience and a solutions-focused attitude

Maintain a clean, well-merchandised sales floor during customer-facing shifts

Assist with floor moves, markdowns, and promotional setups as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods

Basic math skills and attention to detail for shipment verification and cash handling

Dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Preferred:

1+ year of experience in retail, warehouse, or receiving environments

Familiarity with inventory management systems or POS software
-
Experience operating pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment (certification a plus)

Bilingual a plus
Work Environment:
This position involves both stockroom and sales floor work. You can expect a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. Stockroom areas may be temperature-variable. Retail hours apply, including evenings, weekends, and peak season availability.
