This is a part-time position averaging 20–30 hours per week, with typical hours Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Additional hours may be available based on business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Material Handling & Warehouse Support
- Receive, organize, and store incoming materials and products.
- Move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the brewery.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Prepare orders for delivery and distribution.
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and storage areas.
Delivery Responsibilities As Needed
- Deliver kegs, packaged beer, and brewery products to bars, restaurants, retailers, and company locations.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers.
- Collect and return empty kegs and other reusable materials.
- Complete delivery logs and related documentation accurately.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Brewery Support
- Assist with packaging, keg handling, and production support activities as needed.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
- Follow all brewery quality, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous Forklift experience and Certification is required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery driving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 55 pounds regularly.
- Ability to load and unload kegs, cases, and other brewery products.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in warehouse and brewery environments with varying temperatures.
