Junior Architect/Project Manager must be available to work in-person at least 30 hours per week during normal business hours, preferably 40 hours.
Please indicate AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. experience and proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage emails.
- Communicate with manufacturers and vendors to gather project-related information.
- Assist in gathering materials and documentation for building department submittals, planning submittals, and project-related materials.
- Contact and collaborate with various consultants regarding project matters.
- Manage billings and assist with financial tracking.
- Read and address architects' emails with direction, ensuring timely and organized responses.
- File and log submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and track project progress.
- Put together General Architectural Sheets and Life Safety Plans for projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work at least 30 hours per week (40 hours preferred).
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable taking direction and working within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective communication with project team members.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Fast Learner.
Qualifications (Not required but a plus)
- Previous experience in an office setting.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, CAD software, Photoshop, Procore, and/or Sketchup
