Well established production facility in Brown Deer looking for 1st shift Production Leads.
We are looking for a Production Lead I and Production Lead II, these will vary based on experience. Pay rates are $23- $33.
Hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
- Daily team engagement through morning meetings and communication boards
- Assign daily work to the work cell and give instructions to the team
- Check and perform routine quality audits and first article inspection to approve new team members and production methods/processes/procedures
- Monitor productivity, safety, quality, and delivery goals of the work cell
- Handles minor team conflict and escalates when appropriate
· Refers to engineer drawings to ensure the correct parts are pulled and used
· Coordinates activities to produce orders according to standardized work instructions
- Maintain supplies, inventory, and documentation at stations
- Follows all safety regulations and enforces safety policies
- Sets daily productivity goals and works with the team to achieve them
- Leads and participates in daily cell changeovers
- Performs preventive maintenance
- Solves routine problems by utilizing troubleshooting methods
- Insures that standardized work and Lean manufacturing practices are being followed
- Recommends and assists in improvement projects
- Performs other essential duties as assigned by management
Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
