Job Title: Field Supervisor
Location: Remote (with frequent travel required)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Supervisor to lead the installation, operation, and maintenance of water treatment systems in the Midwest region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the construction industry, excellent mechanical aptitude, and a proven track record in managing field services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, administrative skills, and high-level customer interaction.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Water Treatment Operations: Oversee and manage the installation, operation, and maintenance of water treatment systems, including pumps, filters, and chemical treatments.

System and Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on water treatment systems to ensure optimal performance.

System Mobilization/Demobilization: Manage the setup and teardown of water treatment systems at various sites.

Inventory/Asset Management: Track and manage field assets and inventory to ensure availability and functionality.

Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and field operations.

Budget Management: Oversee budgetary aspects related to field services, including cost estimation and tracking expenditures.

Estimating: Provide accurate estimates for project costs and resource needs.

Customer Interface: Engage with clients to address concerns, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Site Visits/Initial Assessments: Conduct site visits to assess conditions, gather requirements, and plan installations.

Site Safety Management: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices at all field sites.

Water Treatment Experience: Hands-on experience with water treatment systems, including pumps, filtration, and chemical treatments.

Pump Mechanic Expertise: Proficiency in maintaining and repairing pump systems.

Filtration and Chemical Treatment: Knowledge and experience with filtration systems and chemical treatment processes.

Construction/Industrial Mechanic Experience: Background in construction or industrial mechanics with a focus on system maintenance and troubleshooting.

Cost Estimating/Budget Management: Experience in estimating project costs and managing budgets effectively.

Project Proposals: Ability to prepare and present project proposals.

Report Writing: Strong skills in documenting and reporting on technical and operational activities.

Proficiency in MS Office: Competent in using basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience: Relevant experience in field services, water treatment systems, or related mechanical roles.

Education: Relevant technical certifications or a degree in a related field is preferred.

Travel: Must be willing to travel on short notice and as needed for field assignments.

Remote Position: This is a remote position requiring significant travel.

Employment Contingency: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, criminal background check and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.

Travel Expenses: Per Diem and mileage reimbursement.

Compensation: $28 - $33 per hour depending on experience and/or project-specific requirements.
