Job Overview:
Work for a growing remodeling business specializing in basements, kitchens, and bathrooms. Join projects alongside experienced remodelers and apprentice team members, where your skills, leadership, and craftsmanship are valued. Starting pay is $20/hr and increases based on skill, experience, and quality of work. Highly skilled and experienced remodelers may start at $25/hr or more.. This role requires prior remodeling experience and the ability to lead jobs from start to finish. Full-time and part-time schedules are available (minimum 30 hours/week).
Job Duties:
- Lead basement finishing, kitchen, and bathroom remodels, including carpentry, finish carpentry, tiling, painting, and drywall work
- Work alongside and mentor apprentice remodelers on job sites
- Assist with other general remodeling tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace
- Communicate project progress, scheduling, and issues clearly with owners and team members
- Coordinate and oversee small teams or subcontractors on-site as needed
Requirements:
Must Have:
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry, finish carpentry, tiling, painting, and drywall work
- Electrical, plumbing, and flooring experience
- Technical school or trade program training OR equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 30 hours per week availability
- Clean, professional, presentable appearance on job sites
- Reliable transportation and punctuality — must arrive on time
- Be professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
