Position Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest service at all times. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a warm and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, supporting and training front desk staff, resolving guest issues, and ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience.
Responsibilities
· Supervise front desk staff to ensure efficient and smooth daily operations.
· Greet guests with a welcoming attitude, handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
· Train, coach, and support front desk agents, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and service standards.
· Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve any complaints or concerns.
· Ensure front desk areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
· Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
· Maintain accurate records and reports, including shift checklists, logbooks, and billing.
· Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development.
· Handle escalated guest issues professionally and in accordance with hotel policies.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
Skills Required
· Minimum 2 years of hotel front desk experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
· Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment.
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
· Knowledge of reservation systems and hotel management software is a plus.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands
· Stand for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
· Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
· Use, carry, and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity.
· Visually look at a computer for extended periods of time.
Adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel as thermostat is controlled by hotel environmental systems.
