As a DSP, you will ensure the safety and well-being of the developmentally disabled population by providing consistent and quality comfort, care, training, and support.
Responsibilities:
● Provide support to individuals with daily living activities, household tasks, recreation, and social engagement.
● Ensure individuals receive proper nutrition according to their prescribed diets, including assistance with feeding when needed.
● Help maintain personal hygiene for individuals and contribute to a clean and safe environment.
● Promptly report any observed or known limitations, deficiencies, signs of abuse, or facility-related concerns.
Requirements:
● Two forms of ID (photo ID and SSN)
● Proof of education
● CPR/BLS Certificate
● Tuberculosis Test Results (PPD, Quanti, or Chest X-ray)
● COVID Vaccine
● SCIP Certificate is a PLUS
