Duties
- Lead end-to-end project management for enterprise software deployments, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and technical standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools like Microsoft Project, Visio, and SharePoint, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies to facilitate smooth project execution within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Manage project schedules with tools such as TFS (Team Foundation Server), VersionOne, Jira, and Microsoft Project to track progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Oversee requirements gathering sessions, analyze business needs, and translate them into detailed test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders through clear reporting on project status, milestones, issues, and risks; negotiate solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance standards including disaster recovery plans, IT infrastructure security, and enterprise solutions implementation.
- Lead release management activities, coordinating deployment schedules while managing dependencies across cloud computing platforms like AWS.
- Supervise project teams involved in software development, testing (including test-driven development), and implementation phases to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Experience
- Proven project management experience in technology environments with a focus on enterprise software implementations and IT infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Agile planning techniques, and Waterfall processes.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical project & program management supervisory roles with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Strong technical proficiency with databases like SQL and Oracle; familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS is highly desirable.
- Experience using project management software including Jira, VersionOne, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office suite (Word & Excel).
- Skilled in requirements gathering, analysis skills, user acceptance testing (UAT), release management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on deadlines and deliverables.
- Strong communication skills capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences; adept at negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
