ISM Discovery Kids Program (After School)
Hours: 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. on scheduled school days (Monday - Friday August 19, 2026 -June 4, 2027). If interested, may apply to work for Summer Camp for Summer employment.
ISM Discovery Kids and Extended Day program is looking for employees who are passionate about positive youth development and dedicated to providing ISM students with the opportunities to grow every day. Program assistants facilitate fun and engaging activities for children enrolled in ISM Discovery Kids and Extended Day program. Program assistants are also responsible for the safety of the students enrolled and overall well-being of the program. Job is perfect for those individuals that enjoy working with school age children or looking to get into education as a future career.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about working with children in a fast-paced, enriching environment.
- Ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks at a time.
- Ability to engage in frequent physical activity with students.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
- Basic knowledge of developmental needs of school age children.
- Excellent organizational and management skills.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for this position, 18 and over, preferred.
- HS degree, preferred, however qualified junior and senior high school students will be considered.
- Experience with being responsible for kids ages 5-11 years.
- Ability to create enriching environments, materials provided.
- Follow school procedures and escalate behaviors, as appropriate.
