Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. This role offers an opportunity to utilize advanced techniques in a professional spa setting, contributing to clients' health and comfort through personalized treatment plans.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment approaches and identify areas of concern
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions
- Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices to support ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients by adhering to sanitation standards and facility protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare or wellness professionals as needed to develop comprehensive care plans
Skills
- Strong patient service orientation with excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in patient assessment and understanding of physiology and anatomy
- Expertise in massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Knowledge of pain management strategies and occupational health principles
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices
- Previous spa experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with spa environments and client care standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain treatment benefits

Job Type: Part-time
Projected Total Compensation: $31.50 - $35.00 per hour
