American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position at a Level III Trauma Center in Lewisville, TX, requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

ICU position within an acute care hospital that is a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
13-week contract

Floating required on an as-needed basis

Documentation system: Meditech
-
Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)

Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for ICU RNs

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position

Dress code requires clean and healthy nails with no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails

Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no extreme styles or colors

Visible piercings other than ears (including nose rings and tongue rings) are prohibited
