American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring 2+ years of clinical nursing experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3x12-hour shifts per week

PCU (Progressive Care Unit) hospital setting

Weekday and some weekend shifts required

Epic EMR used for charting; prior experience preferred

Floating to lower acuity units may be required

13-week contract

Active OH or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required

Current BLS and IV certification required

Epic EMR experience preferred

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills required

Travel nursing experience is a plus

Local candidates are accepted

Candidates who are former employees of this facility are eligible to return after a minimum 6-month separation

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and must not exceed 7 days

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly upon accepting an offer — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet as soon as it is received
