Wellness Assistant (Part-Time, 25 Hours/Week)

Are you energetic, compassionate, and passionate about helping older adults live their best lives? We are seeking a Part-Time Wellness Assistant to join our fun team and help create engaging, meaningful experiences for residents in our assisted living and independent living communities.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, leading group activities, encouraging wellness & fitness, and bringing positivity to each day.
What You'll Do
- Assist with facilitating activities, events, and wellness programs
- Lead or assist with fitness classes, walking groups, and other wellness initiatives
- Encourage resident participation and engagement
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Assist with community outings and special events
- Assist with weekly grocery outings
- Support residents in maintaining an active, purposeful lifestyle
- Collaborate with the Wellness Director and other team members to create enriching experiences
What We're Looking For
- Compassion for and enjoyment of working with older adults
- Positive attitude, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to connect with individuals of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
- Experience leading group activities or exercise classes is highly desirable
- Background in fitness, wellness, senior living, or related fields is a plus
- Experience working with individuals living with dementia is helpful but not required

Position: Part-Time (25 hours/week)
Must be able to pass criminal background check, adult abuse check, and drug screen.
