AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has been serving customers for 65 years. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and self-motivated team member to support our Lansing branch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, takes initiative, and is comfortable handling office and light accounting duties.
This position will be in-person Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Assist with banking and deposits
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail (USPS and interoffice), including invoices
- Order office supplies and coffee
- Print, match, and code invoices
- Make copies of weekly vendor checks, attach backup documentation, and mail after signatures
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, document handling)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
