Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and reservations.
- Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and messages.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality in all interactions with guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is beneficial.
- Knowledge of night audit processes is an advantage.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
